A little information about our active ingredients…

Why Organic ingredients?
We all need help to keep our skin young and supple. Why would you use a chemical when Nature designs her products for every skin, products that will keep our skin looking good? All our botanic ingredients are organically grown, & most of them are actually certified organic.

Aloe Vera
is a member of the Lily family, the gel is found inside the leaves. Used by Alexander the Great to help wounds heal. Cleopatra was known to bathe in Aloe gel to keep her skin smooth & supple.
Aloe is known to counteract the aging effects of the sun, and to allow aged or damaged skin to repair, retain moisture and condition.
Aloe is suitable for all skin types.

Calendula
soothes dry skin. It protects and refreshes while relieving itching due to dry skin. For dry and mature skins calendula acts as an emollient, while purifying and cleansing all skin types.
Calendula is recommended particularly especially for mature, dry, sensitive, oily and problem skins.

Camellia Oil
is the latest and most potent ingredient in skin care, incredibly rich in vitamins and minerals and high in oleic oil. Camellia oil promotes the elasticity in skin, which prevents the appearance of ageing. In more mature skin Camellia soothes the irritation of dry skin and smoothes out wrinkles.
Nardoo by Natural Solutions is the first moisturiser available in Australia with this unique ingredient.  Suitable for all skin types.

Cocoa Butter
is an excellent emollient. It is long lasting and protection, high in vitamin E, so it softens and lubricates. Extracted from the cocoa seed. It is good for all skin types and is particularly loved by dry skin. On Normal, Mature, Dry and Sensitive skins it is particularly good for eye, neck and lip areas.

Cucumber Extract
helps skin retain moisture while tightening the texture of skin. Dry skin is soothed, softened and refreshed. In problem skins cucumber helps regulate the moisture and this stops the skin from becoming oily.

Golden Seal
is particularly used to sooth irritation and dryness in problem & mature skin. It is almost unknown in Australia. This extract is fairly rare and comes from North America, where it was used by the native Americans to counteract the drying effects of the sun. Golden Seal is perfect for all Australian skins.

Green Tea
is an amazing ingredient that seems to have been crafted by nature especially for skin care. As an anti-oxidant it fights cancer. In skin care it stimulates the skin to give a younger fresher look.
Green Tea extract diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and acts as a general tonic for ageing skin. It evens out the surface oil on the skin. It enhances the blood flow to keep young skin looking young.   For all skin types.

Nettle extract
helps the skin rid itself of the dead skin particles that make the skin look dull and unhealthy. It stimulates blood flow to the skin, while cleansing oily skin. 

Rose Hip

Moisturising, emollient, occlusive. Smoothes wrinkles. Helps prevent the signs of ageing. High in omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids and vitamin C. Gives skin a healthy looking glow.

Sweet Almond Oil
is a sympathetic moisturiser. It softens the skin and is fast penetrating.
Sweet Almond Oil is rich in essential fatty acids & vitamins A & E.

Sweet Orange Oil
relieves stress, contains AHAs and just plain smells great.

Other ingredients in Nardoo products are Shea Nut Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax.

We preserve our products with grapefruit seed extract or vitamin E

Our Scrubs have ingredients such as Sweet Almond Oil, Bath Salts, Epsom Salts, Sugar, our own Nardoo Cream Base with Vanilla, Fresh Ground Coffee, Ylang Ylang, Orange Oil or Strawberry Oil plus Cranberry or Hibiscus

As with all Scrubs apply in the shower but BE CAREFUL -a scrub will coat your shower  with oil, which can become very slippery.
